Cheap Personalized Gifts – Your Loved Ones Will Cherish

Here's a cool idea for creating cheap personalized gifts:
I love creating personalized gifts for those dearest to me.  With the use of fonts and great supplies, you can create a personalized gift that is truly special….More at First, find a font you love.  FontFace, DaFont and 1001 Free Fonts have a wide array of options.
Using a design program, or even Microsoft Word, create a text box the size of the note card you want to create.  I suggest you refer to Paper Source for pairing envelope and card sizes.  Enter your text.
Print onto your favorite paper.  Shown above is kraft card stock or my favorite, luxe heavy weight text from Paper Source.
Using a paper cutter, cut just inside the lines from the text box you created and pair with your favorite color envelopes.
As shown above, I tucked each note card into it’s envelope, wrapped them with ribbon and nestled them in heavy boxes {also available at Paper Source}.  I hope they enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed creating them!…More at Gift Ideas – Coordinately Yours, by Julie Blanner

Sleepover and a Parade(weekly blog)

This weekend so far has been AWESOME!!! On Saturday, my mom and I went to the mall to get some clothes for me for the parade. If you haven’t already guessed, I’m going to be in the PARADE! I chose a light shirt with orange, purple, and green stripes. When we got home, I took a shower and got dressed. At 1:30, my mom, dad, and I met up with my principal, because she got me in the parade. Then, we drove off. The parade wasn’t until 4:00 but we had to get there at 3:00. When we got there, we set up the sign and at 4, I threw candy at kids while I rode during the parade. After that, we went home.

Today, my mom and I went to church. Then, we went to Joe’s Crab Shack with my mom’s friend and her kids. I got a Captain’s Catch, which included french fries, fish, and mozzarella sticks. For dessert, I got ice cream. Now, I am about to go to a sleepover!!!

Tye-Dye and Scary Movies(my weekly blog)!

Today, I went to my mom”s daycare. My best friend, Gabi, just got home from Alabama yesterday, so today’s her first day back. When I saw her, I was SOO happy! After that, Gabi, Makenzie(another friend), and I went into our room. We made tye-dye shirts, and then we colored tiles with Sharpies. Gabi and I made tiles with best friend quotes on them, and gave them to each other. Then, we went outside. Outside, it was HOT!!! And for an hour and a half, I was toast. Burnt toast. While we were outside, we thought about making a scary movie!! We would plan it all out when we got inside. When we came inside, we ate lunch! We all had ravioli, pears, and peas. Eh, I hate peas.Next, we had to do silent reading til our teacher came back. Then, we planned the movie. We created tryouts, and Gabi was the director/makeup person/hair girl/whatever she calls herself. The available parts were: the girl, the girl’s sister, the girl’s friend, the haunted girl, the psychiatrist, and extras. Once everyone tried out, we found out what part we played, and I am…………the haunted girl!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! We made up some of the play, and discussed our costumes. Then, we had corn chips and juice. After that, we went outside AGAIN!!!!!!! After about an hour and a half, we went inside to watch a movie. When Gabi left, we asked her mom if she could go to Kings Island with me!!! Then, I played with Makenzie til I left!

Talk to ya later,

Thursday’s a Charm(sort of)(today’s blog)

Today, I didn’t go with my mom to work, so I stayed home. For breakfast, I had a waffle with Hershey’s Spreads, and cereal. I watched TV, and then I froze my yogurt. For lunch, I ate Ramen Noodles and homemade pizza. After that, I played on my tablet, and THEN, the WORST THING OF ALL…………… I had……to clean…….out my closet(da da da)! I had to pick out all the stuff I wanted and didn’t want and put it in a pile. sooooo yeah. NOW, the BEST thing of all, is that….I am going to….. DISGUISE MYSELF! I’m going to wear a faux bob(Put hair in ponytail at the nape of your neck, roll it up, and secure with bobbies), wear sunglasses, and put on a girly outfit! OH, YAA! I don’t know what we’re(my dad, Shadow, and I) going to do yet, so GOODBYE!!!!!
Talk to ya later,
Nicole :P

AHHH! The Loop O Plane(my weekly blog)!

On Saturday, the whole family went to the park. We had to go through another trail to get to the creek, because there weren’t any parking spots left, so we went to park somewhere else. When we got to the creek, Shadow saw these black and blue butterflies. These butterflies were over the water, so he was probably like, ” How can I get these creatures without touching the water?”. HE just stared at them for a while, then found some other bugs. After about 15 minutes, we had to go home so my mom and I could get ready to go to a party.
My dad drove us to my mom’s friend’s house, and my mom’s friend took us to the party. We had dinner, talked, and then had Halo Halo(Filipino dessert). I just dug myself into some yummy mango ice cream! Next, I played on my mom’s phone. Subway Surfers, Radioactive Run, Family Feud, I got them all! Then, I made a video of my friend Hannah at the party on Video Star. I then watched her and her mom play cards, so I could learn how to play. After that, we went back to the car and drove home(forgot to mention, it took half an hour to get home). Meanwhile, Hannah and I made videos in the car until we got home. When I got home, I did my chores and went to bed!
Today, my mom, her friend, and I went to church. After church, we dropped my mom’s friend off at her house, then we went home. At 2:00, my mom,my dad, her 2 friends, one of their husbands, their kids, and I went to our church festival. Their were rides, games, food, and more! These are the rides I rode and how many times I rode them: The Scrambler twice, the Caterpillar(IDK what it’s called) once, this obstacle course once, the Loop O Plane twice(it’s awesome and scary), the Ferris Wheel once, the Orbiter twice, the Happy Swing once, and two Merry-Go-Rounds(with the little kids). My friend’s son went on the Scrambler, the Caterpillar, the Merry-Go-Rounds, the Obstacle Course, the Happy Swing, And the Ferris Wheel! After the rides, we ate and went home. At home I played on my mom’s phone, and did my chores!

Bye for now,
Nicole :D
